If you didn't already know, the Lake Geneva region offers the perfect playground for cycling trips: beautiful scenery, culture, uneven terrain and well-developed roads. Start at the Parc de Milan in the Sous-Gare district and it's off to Lutry to climb the little Corniche. You will pass through several iconic villages of the Lavaux with always a breathtaking view of the vineyards and the whole of Lake Geneva on your right. For the more courageous, a stop is necessary to taste a glass of wine from the region.
After a short flat section, it is time to attack the Corniche, the last climb before the reward for a panoramic view of the entire region classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On your left is the Rhone Valley and then the beautiful mountains of neighbouring France until Geneva on your right.
A superb long descent awaits you before joining the Route du Lac, which you can follow before finishing in front of the Olympic Museum on the lakeside in Ouchy.
