18 October is getting closer – it’s time to make sure not only your legs, but also your bike and equipment are ready for Cyclotour du Léman. One final check before the event will help you start your day around Lake Geneva safely and with peace of mind.
Front and rear lights: Clearly visible, securely mounted and fully functional. We also recommend keeping your lights on during the day.
Helmet: Mandatory throughout the entire ride and properly adjusted.
Race number: Clearly visible on your handlebars, without being folded or covered.
Phone: Keep it within easy reach and save the emergency number in case you need it.
ID: Bring an official form of identification with you.
Your bike deserves one final check before the start:
Tyres & tyre pressure: Check the condition of your tyres and adjust the pressure according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Brakes: Check the brake pads and make sure your brakes are working properly.
Chain & gears: Clean and lubricate the chain and test your gears.
Bolts & components: Make sure your saddle, handlebars and pedals are securely tightened.
Repair kit: Pack a spare inner tube, pump or COâ‚‚ cartridge and a multitool.
